Joel McHale is dreaming of a knife Christmas | New York Post

Joel McHale wants knives for Christmas.

Yes, you read that right: knives. (And some toys and speakers and an extremely true-to-life "Home Alone" experience for his kid, of course.)

Here's what the "Community" star, host of the upcoming People's Choice Awards, wants to find unwrap this year, as told to The Post:

1. Parrot Bebop Quadcopter DroneParrot

"Anyone who tries to sell you anything less than a QUAD-copter drone is simply a penny-pinching miser looking to saddle you with a lame-wad toy helicopter."

2. Ultimate Ears BOOM 2 Bluetooth SpeakerUltimate Ears

"I listen to a lot of musics, podcasts and frequently replay More Info voicemails from people I have wronged. Also, it's waterproof, which is great, because I drink a lot."

3. "Amazing Fantasy" #15 (in near-mint condition with a CGC score 9.4)Amazing Fantasy (1962) #15, (writer Stan Lee, pencils Steve Ditko)Marvel

"I'd love nothing more than this first-ever appearance of Spider-Man (current price: $454,100) rolled up and stuffed in my stocking, covered with festive holiday stickers!"

4. Cold Steel KnivesCold Steel

"I like to cut stuff."

5. Nerf N-Strike Elite Rhino-Fire BlasterNerf

"A charitable donation, made out in my name to JUST KIDDING. I want the Nerf N-Strike Elite Rhino-Fire Blaster."

6. Pliny the Elder IPA BeerRussian River Brewing Co.

"I want as much Pliny the Elder IPA Beer an army can carry."

As for his holiday plans, McHale joked with The Post, "Every year, my wife, my oldest son and I jet off to Paris, leaving my youngest son behind -- to live out his very own 'Home Alone' interactive experience! Last year, I even hired Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern to pretend to break into the house. It's a fun family tradition."

McHale said that his favorite stocking stuffer is tied between Toblerone bars and the 2017 Porsche 911 Carrera. "I could probably click reference drive to the store and buy a bunch of Toblerones. So the Porsche, please."

His favorite holiday memory? He told us, "I drink a lot between Thanksgiving and New Year's, so all of the holidays sort of blend together into one warm, blurry holiday memory."
